Along with our general curriculum we are beginning our year- long science and geography studies. Barker Creek will be learning about animals and Steele Creek will be learning about plants and insects . In each monthly newsletter, we will let you know what we are studying during that month. Please feel free to contribute items of interest for show and tell or for demonstration.

Scholastic book order forms will be coming home each month with your child. You have the optional opportunity to order quality books at great prices. The school earns points for these orders which we trade in for free books or school equipment. We also provide the option of online ordering. There are several added benefits to online ordering and it's easy! Follow the steps from the link below and pay with a credit card. (User Name: MSCK, Password: bookorder.) We can still accept order forms at the school as well. Simply fill in the order form on the back and return it to the school by the due date. Please, make your checks payable to Scholastic. The books arrive about 2 weeks after the due date. You will receive one book order form per month.
